View exchange meet held in Khulna

KHULNA, Sept 10 (BSS): The newly appointed Khulna Divisional Commissioner here on Wednesday said journalists can play vital role in implementing the government's 'Charter of Changes: Vision 2021'.
Tremendous success has been achieved so far in different sectors he said adding that the nation has been marching forward to become the middle income nation soon following successful implementation of the "Charter of Changes: Vision 2021'programme.
He was addressing a views sharing meeting with the local journalists at the conference room of Khulna divisional commissioner's office.
He said the government achieved tremendous success during the last five years by bringing all services to the doorstep of the people.
There are vast scopes for developing the south-west zone including Khulna division, he said adding that on completion of the Padma Bridge total economy of the region will change.
Seeking cooperation for developing the coastal belt and the south-west zone, journalists said that government officials should be more dynamic, efficient with total commitment to the nation.
Journalists emphasized the need for people friendly administrations and urged the administration to be more effective and bring all government services including Union Information Service (UISC) centers to the doorstep of the people so that they can learn about the services including health, sanitation, admission, human rights, legal aid, e-governance, e-education, e-agriculture, e-health, employment marketing produce and many others.
Among others, Additional Commissioner (General) Ashok Kumar, president and general secretary of Khulna Press Club Faruk Ahmed and S M Zahid Hossain, Journalists Mokbul Hossain Mintu, A K Hiru, S M Habib, Muniruddin Ahmed, Md. Saheb Ali, Mahbub Alam Sohag, Gaurango Nandi, Mahbub Alam Sohag, S M Shahid Hossain, Mostofa Sarwar, Gazi Moniruzzaman, S M Kamal Hossain, Koushik Dey Bappy and Shah Alam addressed the meeting.
