FARIDPUR, July 7 (UNB): Villagers captured a 15-foot long python from a yard at Borail village in Madhukhali upazila early Saturday while it was taking shelter in a house.
Owner of the house Akram Mridha said he spotted the giant snake on his aisle around 12:30 am while he was returning home after watching an ongoing world cup football match.
Later, Akram along with some next-door neighbours trapped the snake into a wooden case after giving a mild blow to languish it.
Eyewitness Helal Hossain said the python is about 15 feet long, weighing around 20-25 kg.
Abdul Mannan Molla, chairman of Gajna Union Parishad, said villagers have become horrified to experience the presence of such a big snake in their village.
A few days back 13 mini pythons were also recovered from a house innearby Gondardia village, he added.
