Visa, consular assistance, trade-investment facilities on info superhighway
Wednesday, 30 July 2008
A British High Commission new website will display essential information for those applying for or sponsoring visas for the United Kingdom (UK), seeking consular assistance in Bangladesh and looking for advice about British or Bangladesh trade and investment opportunities.
The website is going to be launched today (Wednesday), reports UNB.
The website will also carry news, features and announcements about the work of the British High Commission and its partner UK organisations, DFID and the British Council in Bangladesh.
British High Commissioner Stephen Evans said, "We are very pleased to be moving to a new web platform, which will allow us to communicate in depth and positively of the UK's engagement with Bangladesh to a wider audience.
"It will also make information more accessible and user-friendly, thereby helping us achieve our aim of providing the best possible services to our visa, commercial and consular customers."
The new website address will replace the previous one (ukinbangladesh.org).
