Visiting US Pacific Marine Force Commander passes busy day

Visiting US Pacific Marine Force Commander Lt General Richard C Zilmer passed a busy day Wednesday by participating in different programmes, reports BSS.
Lt General Zilmer called on Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam at Naval Headquarters and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal SM Ziaur Rahman at Air Headquarters.
During the meeting, he exchanged greetings and discussed matters of professional interest and views about bilateral issues.
Earlier, he made a courtesy call on Principal Staff Officer of Armed Forces Division Lt General M Abdul Mubeen at AFD.
The US Pacific Marine Force Commander arrived here on a four-day visit to attend Non-lethal Weapons Executive Seminar 2008 held at a city hotel Tuesday.
Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Rear Admiral Mustafizur Rahman welcomed him at Zia International Airport on his arrival.
