Viyellatex sets up IT lab

Viyellatex Group, an export-oriented garment maker, has set up an IT laboratory on Dhaka University (DU) campus at a cost of Tk 5.0 million, says a press release.
The lab was inaugurated with the equipment of 30 computers with broadband internet recently.
The company has also provided IT logistics for the Department of International Business of the university.
Viyellatex Chairman David Hasanat said the company will continue its efforts for the development of the country's education sector.
DU Vice Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique, Pro-vice Chancellor Harun-or-Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Abbas Ali Khan, Chairman of International Business Department Khondoker Bazlul Hoque and Prof Abu Hossain Siddique were present at the inaugural ceremony.
