Wahid new envoy to Kenya

The government has decided to appoint Md Wahidur Rahman, the director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the next Bangladesh High Commissioner to Kenya, reports BSS.
Rahman, a career diplomat belonging to the 9th batch of the BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre, joined the service in 1991. He earlier served in various capacities at the ministry and in Bangladesh missions in Riyadh, Singapore, Jeddah and Bonn, a Foreign Ministry press release said in the city Monday.
