Wahidur Rahman new BD envoy to Egypt

The government on Thursday appointed M Wahidur Rahman, currently serving as Bangladesh High Commissioner to Kenya, as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Egypt. During his diplomatic career, Wahidur Rahman served in Bangladesh missions in Riyadh, Singapore, Jeddah and Bonn, said a Foreign Ministry media release. Wahidur Rahman belongs to the 9th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre and joined the Service in 1991. He holds a post-graduate degree in Sociology, according to a news agency.
