Wahidur Rahman new envoy to Egypt

The government has decided to appoint Md Wahidur Rahman the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Arab Republic of Egypt, reports BSS.
He is currently serving as Bangladesh High Commissioner in Kenya, a foreign ministry release said Thursday.
A career diplomat, Rahman belongs to the 9th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre and joined the Service in 1991.
During his distinguished diplomatic career, he served in Bangladesh Missions in Riyadh, Singapore, Jeddah and Bonn. Mr. Rahman holds a post-graduate degree in Sociology.
He is married and has two children.
