Walton Hi-Tech Industry goes on production

Walton Hi-Tech Industry, a concern of local RB Group, started its commercial production at Gazipur recently, says a press release.
Chairman and Managing Director of Butterfly Marketing Ltd MA Mannan inaugurated the manufacturing activity officially as the chief guest.
Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industry Ashraful Alam and other high officials of the industry were also present on the occasion.
Mannan said, to set up this kind of sophisticated and hi-tech industry in a developing country like Bangladesh is very difficult and challenging.
He thanked the entrepreneurs of the industry and expressed the hope that the industry would save huge foreign currency for the country.
"At the initial stage the company will manufacture WD 201 model Walton fridge but the production range will be expanded in near future," said Ashraful.
He also said Walton fridge has used most modern technology at the time of manufacture and in addition it has roll bond evaporator, water drainage system and joint-less 100 per cent copper condenser, chiller box to maintain world class quality of the Walton fridge.
"Besides, electricity consumption of the fridge is lesser than other products in the market," he added.
Alam said that the Walton Hi Tech Industry will help to promote 'Bangladesh Branding' abroad and definitely this industry will be able to make world class refrigerator like other players in the field.
