Walton to expand brand business in Sri Lanka

Global electronics brand Walton is set to expand its presence in Sri Lanka through a new partnership with Sri Lankan company 'Monik Trading Private Limited'. To this end, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC and Monik Trading at a ceremony held at the Marino Beach Hotel in Colombo. The agreement was signed by Monik Trading's Managing Director Dr Wasala Maduwantha Ariyapala and Walton Hi-Tech's Additional Managing Director (AMD) and Chief Financial Officer Md. Ziaul Alam. Bangladesh High Commissioner in Sri Lanka Andalib Elias attended the function as the chief guest.
