Walton to export mobile phones to Nepal

Bangladeshi electronics brand Walton is going to start exporting its mobile phones to Nepal very soon.  Walton has already gained its footing in the electronics market in Nepal with its low-cost but high quality products, including refrigerator, television and air conditioner, reports UNB.
Walton has a comparative advantage over other electronic brands selling products in that country because of its low-cost products.  Rida Incorporated Private Ltd., which is the sole distributor of Walton in Nepal, has already started appointing dealers in all the 75 districts in Nepal, according to officials of Walton.  The government of Nepal has recently shown interest to give duty-free access to 74 Bangladeshi products while Bangladesh agreed to give duty-free access to 108 products from Nepal.
