Warid distributes 1000 school bags to needy children

Warid Telecom recently distributed 1000 school bags and note books to underprivileged children of East Chandana Government Primary School at Chandra, Gazipur and Mukul Niketan Primary & High School in Mymensingh.
Warid's Head of Marketing Nauman Fakhar, Zonal Business Manager Sohel Imroj Sayeed, headmasters of the schools and local dignitaries were, among others, present during the distribution ceremony, said a press release.
Earlier, the fast growing mobile operator distributed school bags to underprivileged children of Khan Hasan Govt. Primary School at Free School Street in Kathalbagan area and Jamgora Registered Primary School at Ashulia.
The school bags are manufactured by utilising the used materials of billboards in order to keep the environment clean and at the same time to extend a helping hand to under-privileged students for flourishing their hidden talent through formal education.
While distributing the bags, Nauman said, "We are very happy to provide the children with bags. Warid understands that helping children for their education will help the nation build a better future."
