Warid introduces news service for its subscribers

All pre-paid and post-paid subscribers of Warid Telecom will, from now on, be able to listen to the latest news of the daily Prothom Alo by dialling 2221 or get news update by typing 'news' and sending it to 2221.
Warid Telecom in association with the daily Prothom Alo launched Wednesday the value added service to provide news services to its subscribers, said a press release.
By launching the service, Warid Telecom management expressed the hope that the valued customers would enjoy the service as they would able to get the latest and breaking news from any part of the country just dialling or sending SMS to the designated short code, the release added.
