Warid rewards top subscribers to celebrate 2nd anniversary

Warid Telecom has rewarded 22 post-paid and 22 pre-paid subscribers with free mobile handsets for being most loyal customer of the company, said a press release.
Warid Telecom CEO Mr. Muneer Farooqui handed over the 'Sony Ericsson W 880i, SE W810i and SE W610i' model handsets to those post-paid and pre-paid customers as part of the celebration of its second year operation in Bangladesh. The CEO handed over the gifts at a ceremony held recently in the city.
Expressing his deep gratitude to the customers for being most loyal to Warid, Mr. Farooqui said as a carrier of change, Warid Telecom would bring more variety, innovation and improvement in terms of providing services to distinguish itself from its competitions.
Since launching, Warid Telecom, a subsidiary of UAE-based Abu Dhabi Group, had so far invested around US$600 million to build a high quality network based on Next Generation Network (NGN) technology, first of its kind in Bangladesh. The company presently boasts around 2.5 million active subscribers till date with presence in all 64 districts.
"We have the plan to expand our network so that you being our valued customers could get mobile facility in every nook and corner of Bangladesh" Mr. Farooqui told the recipients.
