Warid Telecom introduces advanced SIM Tool Kit

Warid Telecom has introduced an advanced SIM Tool Kit (STK) for all its subscribers, the first of its kind for Telecom users in Bangladesh. Customers will experience new standard of convenience related to VAS usage with this STK, said a press release.
Branded as the "Warid SIM Genie", the STK is a detailed menu that all Warid subscribers will find in their phones.
The STK consists of several sub-menus, each offering a different category of Value Added Services and contents. To avail a service, a user has to click on the corresponding menu appearing in his or her mobile screen.
The STK can be used by Warid users to fulfill a variety of their mobile-related needs without having to memorize and remember any short codes.
From now a Warid subscriber who uses a Bangla-supporting handset can view all the options in Bangla, by going to the "Switch2Bangla" option that appears in the Warid menu.
Using this advanced menu, users can download a variety of value-added contents like logos, ring tones, pictures, jokes, caller tunes, etc. These contents can be found under a menu-category called "Entertainment".
The menu also offers SMS-based infotainment services like local and international news, sports headlines, weather forecasts, financial news etc. through the menu -"Info Zone".
Additionally, the STK includes a unique "Self-service" menu, which allows the user to directly subscribe to services like Friends and Family, Voicemail, Missed Call Alerts, Caller Tunes etc. without taking support of Customer Service.
This menu therefore offers users the freedom to activate/de-activate the service of their choice at their own convenience. Moreover, the "self-service" menu includes a unique "tariff change" option which gives users the flexibility to migrate between different packages Warid has on offer.
