Warid Telecom launches int'l roaming services with 60 partners

Warid Telecom International Limited in Bangladesh has launched international roaming services with 60 operators across 30 countries.
From now on subscribers could roam with Warid network and stay connected with their near and dear ones while visiting 30 countries switching to the international roaming services of Warid Telecom.
Warid Telecom has created a record in GSM roaming arena in Bangladesh by launching the services.
The company in fact signed up with as many as 34 international operators recently. More countries are coming under the net shortly.
A concern of UAE-based Abu Dhabi Group, Warid Telecom launched its operation on May 10 this year.
The company expanded its world-class network to 35 districts in just 50 days of its launch.
Warid Telecom has invested over $500 million in Bangladesh to become the single largest investment by a Middle East company in the country.
The company will invest $750 million by 2008 and will expect to cross $1.0 billion by 2010, company sources said.
