Water colour art exhibition begins in city

A 10-day exhibition of water colour paintings, titled ‘Waves of Colour’, began in the capital Friday.
South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Yun-Young inaugurated the exhibition at Gallery Cosmos-2 in the capital’s Mohakhali DOHS area.
Chairman of Gallery Cosmos and Cosmos Atelier 71 Enayetullah Khan, Cosmos Gallery Director Tehmina Enayet and renowned artists Samarjit Roy Chowdhury and Mustafa Monwar were also present, according to a news agency.
The South Korean envoy said all the artworks displayed in the show are really impressive, and appreciated the Cosmos Gallery for its initiative to promote young artists.
Speaking on the occasion, Enayetullah Khan urged the South Korean envoy to help promote Bangladeshi art and culture.
