Waukesha Engine chief visits Bangladesh

Dana Engineers International Ltd. (Dana Group) played host recently to the visit of President of Waukesha Engine, Dresser, Inc., USA, Mr. Barry Allen Glickman, said a press release issued in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Waukesha Engine is a leading manufacturer of natural gas fueled engines in the world. These engines are known for their reliability and used widely in the textile, steel and other industries in Bangladesh, totaling generation capacity around 700MW, the press released stated.
It stated: "Dana Engineers International Ltd., a pioneer of marketing Gas Engine Generator is representing Waukesha Engine for the last 38 years.
Managing Director of Dana Group, Syed Salman Masud welcomed the president of the US-based Waukesha Engine, noting that this was a significant initiative and recognition of the market in Bangladesh.
Accompanying the president was Regional Director for West Asia Mr. Donald Alphonso and Director for Sales, Mr. Victor Gharakhanian, the press release added.
