ATM Waziullah -- chairman of Kobeda Group of Companies, past president of DCCI, past director of FBCCI and Agrani Bank Limited -- has been elected president of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) for the two-year term (2010-12).
Md Shamsur Rahman, managing director (MD) of Bay Group, and Dr Md Jahangir Alam, chairman and MD of Jahangir Nagar Hospital Limited, have also been elected senior vice-president and vice-president respectively. The election to 24 members of the board of directors of the chamber was held in the city recently.
