WB country director visits CEPZ

CHITTAGONG, Oct 7 (UNB): World Bank (WB) Country Director Xian Zhu visited Chittagong EPZ and Korean EPZ respectively Sunday.
Xian Zhu first visited the factories of Young One, Denim Plus (Pvt) Ltd and EP Shet (Pvt) Ltd and then left for the KEPZ.
After visiting the two EPZs, the WB country director told journalists that industrial growth rate in Bangladesh is excellent and expressed his hope that the country would turn into a middle-income country within few years.
He also assured the WB's support in expanding EPZs in the country.
