The World Bank (WB) is providing technical assistance and grants for various studies to help the government develop a conservation and sustainable development programme for the Sundarbans, reports UNB.
The studies, based on both primary and secondary data, will address the main challenges like poverty reduction, climate change adaptation, and biodiversity conservation in the Sundarbans, the world's largest mangrove forest, said a press release Thursday.
