The World Bank has assured the government of providing US$150 million for implementing employment generation schemes, a cash-based programme for the ultra poor.
The World Bank Thursday said it would evaluate government efficiency in programme execution and transparency before committing $150 million as loan, to be provided over a three-year period.
The government plans to introduce "Employment generation programme for the hardcore poor."
