WB to provide Tk 21b to set up food godowns

The World Bank (WB) will provide Bangladesh Tk 21 billion to set up modern food godowns. The assurance came from a meeting when a high-level WB representative called on Food and Disaster Management Minister Abdur Razzaque at his office Sunday. Earlier, Tk 70 million was allocated under Emergency Cyclone Recovery and Restoration Project (CRRP) for a feasibility study to select suitable places for the warehouses, a press release said.
