Wealth info: ACC quizzing MP Bodi

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) started questioning Abdur Rahman Bodi, an MP elected from Cox’s Bazar-4 (Ukhia-Teknaf) constituency, on Sunday morning in connection with the allegation of unusual wealth accumulation. ACC deputy director Ahsan Ali started quizzing Bodi around 10 am at the ACC head office in Segun Bagicha in Dhaka city, Commission sources said. The Commission on February 4 served a notice asking the ruling party lawmaker to be present at 10 am at the ACC headquarters to face grilling today (Feb 16). The notice says if Bodi fails to be present at the ACC head office within the stipulated time, legal action will be taken against him. Earlier, on January 12, the ACC launched probes into the allegations of unusual wealth accumulation by seven politicians, including Abdur Rahman Bodi, according to UNB.
