The country's highest temperature was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius in Dhaka on Wednesday, according to the Met Office.
On the other hand, the country's minimum temperature was recorded at 17.3 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi on the day.
However, the Met Office forecasted that rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at most places over Chattogram division and at a few places over Barishal division today (Thursday).
Weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country, according to the Met Office.
Night temperature may fall slightly over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
However, day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.
The sun sets at 5:17 pm in Dhaka today (Thursday) and will rise at 6:07am tomorrow (Friday).
