Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions, reports UNB.
It may also occur at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls over the country in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Wednesday).
Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Sylhet divisions.
Day and night temperature may fall by (1-3) degrees Celsius over the country, said the Met Office.
The country's highest temperature 37.9 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Dinajpur and the lowest 25.5 degrees in Teknaf.
