Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Chattogram divisions during the period.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna and Chuadanga.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum was 22.0 degrees Celsius at Chuadanga.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.2 degrees Celsius on Friday and the lowest was 27.7 degrees.
