Rain/thunder showers with intense lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the regions of Rajshahi and Pabna.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum was 21.4 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 27.2 degrees.
