Rain/thunder showers with lightning accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country. The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius in Khulna and minimum was 18.5 degrees Celsius at Netrokona.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.9 degrees Celsius on Friday and the lowest was 24.0 degrees.
