Rain/thunder showers with intense lightning flashes and temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Monday), according to the Met Office.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the regions of Rangamati, Sayedpur, Khulna, Mongla, Satkhira and Jashore.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 37.0 degrees Celsius at Rangamati and minimum was 22.4 degrees Celsius at Tetulia and Patuakhali respectively.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday and the lowest was 25.6 degrees.
