Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
Mild heat wave may sweep over Khulna division and the districts of Gopalganj, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni, Pabna, Rajshahi, Barishal and Patuakhali.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 37.6 degrees Celsius at Jashore and the minimum was 23.5 degrees Celsius at Kutubdia.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 27.1 degrees.
