Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and intense lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
The country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 34.9 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and the minimum was 23.0 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda.
