Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 33.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum was 24.0 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 29.4 degrees Celsius on Monday and the lowest was 26.1 degrees.
