Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Khulna and Barishal divisions with heavy to heavy falls over the country.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna and Sayedpur.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 37.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum was 24.4 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 26.4 degrees.
