Light to moderate rain/ thunder shower accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 34.9 degrees Celsius in Chandpur while the lowest temperature at 24.5 degrees in Nikli.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 26.8 degrees.
