Mild heat wave sweeps some dists

Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Chattogram, Rangamati, Cumilla, Feni, Bandarban, Patuakhali and Barishal and it may abate from some places.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius on Sunday and the lowest was 24 degrees.
