Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna and Chuadanga.
The highest temperature in the country on Saturday was recorded at 37.0 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga while the lowest temperature at 22.5 degrees in Satkhira.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32.1 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 24.0 degrees.
