Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.
Mild heat wave may sweep over Khulna division and the district of Rajshahi.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 37.6 degrees Celsius in Jashore while the lowest temperature at 23.5 degrees in Kutubdia and Dinajpur.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.9 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 24.8 degrees.
