Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
Mild heat wave may sweep over Khulna division and the districts of Gopalgonj, Rajshahi and Pabna.
Day temperature may rise slightly over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisahal and Chattogram divisions.
The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 39.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature at 21.9 degrees in Gopalgonj.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.1 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 28.0 degrees.
