Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Dhaka divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Monday was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur while the lowest temperature at 24.3 degrees in Bandarban.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius on Monday and the lowest was 27.3 degrees.
