Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions in the next 24 from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Rangpur and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Pabna, Feni and Chuadanga.
The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature at 24.5 degrees in Bandarban.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 36.1 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 29.2 degrees.
