Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Dhaka, Tangail, Rajshahi, Pabna, Rangpur, Nilphamari and Moulvibazar.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 37.8 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature at 24.8 degrees in Bandarban.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 36.6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 28.9 degrees.
