Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls. Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur while the lowest temperature at 23.8 degrees in Kutubdia.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.5degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 27.2 degrees.
