Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at many places over Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi division with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius in Mongla of Khulna while the lowest temperature at 24. degrees Celsius in Sandwip of Chattogram.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 28.6 degrees.
