Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Monday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.
Mild heat wave may sweep over Rajshahi division and the districts of Bagerhat, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kushtia.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Sunday was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius in Ishurdi while the lowest temperature at 21.8 degrees in Tangail.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday and the lowest was 24.8 degrees.
