Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at many places over Dhaka, Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.
Mild heat wave may sweep over Rangpur division and the districts of Dhaka, Tangail, Kishoreganj, Rajshahi, Bogura, Sirajgonj and Sylhet.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur while the lowest temperature at 24.6 degrees in Dinajpur.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 36.0 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the lowest was 27.7 degrees.
