Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.
The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius in Rangpur while the lowest temperature at 24.8 degrees in Nikli.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 27.0 degrees.
