Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy falls.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius in Jashore while the lowest temperature at 25.0 degrees in Gopalgonj, Kutubdia, Teknaf and Bandarban respectively.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 33.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 26.6 degrees.
