Light to moderate rain/ thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country until 06:00 pm today (Saturday) according to the Met Office.
The highest temperature in the country on Friday was recorded at 33.7 degrees Celsius in Mongla of Khulna while the lowest temperature 23.6 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32.5 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 24.6 degrees.
