Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy falls.
The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Jashore while the lowest temperature at 23.4 degrees in Sayedpur.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.0 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was 27.1 degrees.
The sun sets in the city today (Wednesday) at 05:36 pm and rises tomorrow (Thursday) at 05:54 am.
